We know that in the coming year, property taxes will increase and the price of food will continue to climb and then there’s that carbon tax.
Most people I know are concerned about how to stretch their money.
In Philadelphia, they once considered setting up about 60,000 slot machines, to bring in about a billion a year, to offset property taxes.
Now, some American cities are watching the marijuana tax money at work.
News reports in the past from Denver indicated pot taxes were used in some areas to help homeless children eat and go to school. These were, apparently, kids living in cars or fleabag motels or shelters.
Marijuana money also goes to some non-profits.
The Trudeau Liberals are still looking at how best to legalize and tax marijuana.
