A nation-wide warrant has been issued for a man in relation to a homicide earlier this year.
The body of Brad MacDonald was found the morning of April 10, 2016 in the area of Stony Plain Road and Winterburn Road. An autopsy showed the 37-year-old died of blunt force trauma.
Police are now looking for Austin Mackenzie Southworth, 26. He may be on Vancouver Island driving a blue Mazda minivan with the Alberta plate BPB 4769. The van may have a broken driver’s side window.
He’s described as a Caucasian male with green eyes, short brown hair and light facial hair. He is approximately 5’7” tall, slim build and weighs 140 lbs. Southworth also has several tattoos (not pictured). He has a tattoo on his left hand which reads “brothair,” a full sleeved tattoo with tribal markings covering his right arm, as well as star-shaped tattoos across the front of his neck.
He is facing charges of second degree murder, possession of a dangerous weapon, and robbery.
