A Calgary lawyer is joining former MP Jason Kenney and current Calgary-Varsity MLA Donna Kennedy-Glans in vying for the Alberta PC leadership.
Byron Nelson announced his candidacy Tuesday, saying he wants to make Alberta the “place of opportunity it once was.”
Nelson has been an active member of the PC caucus for 25 years. He also ran for the Legislature in Calgary-Bow in the 2015 election.
The campaign kicks off in October, with the vote for leader on March 18th, 2017. (ms, News Talk 770)
