A morning home invasion in northwest Edmonton left a resident recovering from a gunshot wound.
EPS says they responded to a call just after 7 a.m. to the area of 120 Avenue and 125th Street. There, they found the injured 28-year-old man.
EMS treated the man at the scene, then transported him to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
According to police, three men dressed in black clothing entered a residence, unleashed bear spray, and then shot one of the occupants. No other occupants of the home were injured, and it is believed this was a targeted incident.
