An Edmonton bus driver has been charged after a collision left a senior dead.
An 83-year-old woman was crossing 87 Avenue at around 2:15 p.m. Oct. 4, 2016. Police say she was hit when a bus turned left onto 87 Avenue from 169 street. The senior was taken to hospital, where she died.
Kellie Rowe, 42, has been charged with not yielding to a pedestrian in a marked crosswalk.
This is Edmonton’s 19th traffic fatality of the year. (kb)
