A body found in the ruins of the Bashaw Motor Inn has been identified as that of Barinder Singh Tiwana, who was 54.
The disturbing discovery was made after the motel burned to the ground on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016, with three others taken to hospital in serious condition.
Graffiti containing a racial slur was found at the site, but Bashaw RCMP have said, so far, there’s nothing to indicate it was connected to the motel fire.
There’s still no word on the cause of the blaze, as the investigation continues. (td)
