At a time when many fundraising lotteries are struggling to sell tickets, the Mighty Millions Lottery is managing to thrive.
CEO of the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation, Mike House, told 630CHED that the advertisements for the lottery have focused on kids who have been helped by the Stollery.
“We’ve sold over 60% of the tickets,” said House. “And I think that’s a positive indication that Albertans all across this province really believe in childrens’ health.”
The grand prize for the lottery is a $2.3 million dollar showhome plus $100,00 cash. In addition to the grand prize, House explained that there’s a bonus early-bird prize for those who purchase tickets before November 10th.
“You can win a super trip to Marlon Brando’s private Tahitian island,” said House. “And also you get a Porsche Cayenne.”
