It should be sunny and 17 degrees on Saturday and that likely has the Alberta Citizens Coalition excited.
The ACC describes itself as a grassroots community that aims to stop the Climate Leadership Implementation Act and carbon tax.
They’re holding an Alberta wide rally Saturday with the main rally at the legislature at noon.
The group says they’re looking to secure 500,000 to one-million signatures on a petition to urge the province to hold a referendum on the carbon tax and bill.
They say all Albertans, from any political party, are welcome to attend.
There will be rallies at most major Alberta cities including, Fort McMurray, Drayton Valley, Camrose, Grande Prairie and Red Deer to name a few.
The Climate Leadership Implementation Act comes into effect January 1st. (twd)
