The Stollery Children’s Hospital is celebrating its 15th anniversary.
As part of that, they’re thanking everyone who has helped them to help kids in need.
One of those people was our sister stations 103.9 CISN Country’s Chris Scheetz.

Scheetz says it was an honour to be recognized.
“It was pretty amazing, it was a shock,” Scheetz said. “I didn’t see this coming. I love this hospital and all these people, so it’s a really neat thing.”
Scheetz adds that it’s not really all about him, there’s lots of people who need thanking.
“It’s not really what I’ve done, it’s what our listeners and the community have done,” Scheetz said. “Like the Radiothon, which we’ve done for so many years, and millions of dollars have been raised to make a difference here for the kids. I even had one of the doctors come out and shake my hand. Those are the heroes, (including) the staff and the kids and the parents. To see them here today and the fact that we can make a difference in the community by helping with the foundation is pretty awesome.”
Words can’t describe how surprised and honored I am right now. https://t.co/z9xgztbRkB
