A convicted violent offender, whose release from prison prompted a warning from the Edmonton Police Service in January, has gone missing.
Police say Dean Goulet, who is 39, left the Alberta Hospital Friday afternoon, but then failed to return by a 10 p.m. curfew, as stipulated under his court-ordered conditions.
Goulet was also ordered to stay away from alcohol and drugs, bars and casinos, and anyone with a criminal history.
Police would like to hear from anyone with information on his whereabouts, with a warning not to approach him.
Goulet is said to be a prolific violent offender who has served prison time for numerous robbery and firearm-related crimes.
