A highway collision has claimed the life of one man.
Police were called to the crash south of Red Deer at around 1:30 a.m. Friday morning.
There was only one person in the van that RCMP say ran a stop sign on Highway 42, where it crosses with Highway 2A.
The van T-boned a car with two people inside. They both made it out with only minor injuries, but the van’s driver was killed.
RCMP say a seat belt not being used may have contributed to his death.
