The Edmonton Police Service is wishing Deputy Chief Tony Harder all the best with his new adventures after a long and distinguished career.
Harder retired Friday, inspecting the downtown patrol squad for a final stand up parade.
The Deputy Chief spent the last 35 years serving the community.
He was recently presented with an Eagle feather and Pendleton blanket in recognition of his contributions to the Indigenous community at a special ceremony.
Harder worked to foster a relationship of trust and understanding with Edmonton’s Indigenous community. (td)
