Two people from Edmonton are facing multiple charges after their vehicle crashed into a light pole.
Viking RCMP were called to the scene Thursday, but the occupants of the vehicle had already fled the scene.
Mounties later identified the two as 24-year old Travis Serson and 19-year old Victoria Martinuk.
Both were arrested for outstanding warrants.
Serson is facing charges of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, public mischief, possession of a controlled substance, three counts of fail to comply with recognizance and fail to remain at the scene of an accident.
He remains in custody pending is his first court appearance.
Martinuk was released to appear in court as a result of her warrants.
Viking is 134 KM southeast of Edmonton.
