Is it the high rate of unemployment that tipped the balance on this one or have you just have had enough of the government throwing your money to their needed voters?
This time it’s the Bombardier bombshell about giving millions in raises to the chairman and several senior executives.
This after getting millions in government money, in investments and loans.
The people at the top get big money.
The people at the bottom get laid off.
Quebecers took to the streets yesterday over this one. There was a demonstration outside Bombardier’s head office in Montreal.
Now, the company is suggesting they may defer payment of some of the bonus millions until 2020, based on performance.
Should performance include how many people they decide to lay off?
Governments should not be handing over our tax dollars to be used in this way. There should be a clause attached to our money saying no executive raises will be paid out until the loan is paid back.
Let me know what you think about all of this.
