The province’s economy continues to show signs of recovery after oil prices plunged, and brought it down with them.
20,000 jobs were gained in Alberta last month, all of them full time.
More people looking for work pushed the unemployment up a tenth of a per cent to 8.4, this after it hit a high of nine per cent last November.
Nationally, there was good news as well, with 19,400 jobs added. Again, the expanding labour market bumped unemployment up slightly to 6.7 per cent.
