After days of speculation, the Edmonton Eskimos are making it official: Brock Sunderland is the new general manager, and vice president of football operations.
The club will introduce Sunderland to the media at Commonwealth Stadium Tuesday at 2 p.m.
The 37-year-old comes to the Eskimos after a four-year stint in Ottawa as assistant general manager of the Redblacks.
He’s previously served as director of scouting for the Montreal Alouettes, and also scouted for the NFL’s New York Jets for six seasons.
Sunderland replaces Ed Hervey, whom the Eskimos let go earlier this year.
