Mayor Don Iveson cracked a craft beer to celebrate the kick-off of Round 2.
He kept the 12-pack of Alley Kat that he wagered against San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo during Round 1, and doubled down.
“We’ve sweetened the deal for the second round here to include a commitment to host tourism material in your city hall from whichever city is victorious,” said Iveson, who is confident that “Explore Edmonton” will be seen in Anaheim.
Of course, some Edmonton beer has been put up against Anaheim Mayor Tom Tait.

Iveson bet a 12-pack from Polar Park brewery, a venture by former Oiler Andrew Ference based here in Edmonton.
He’s excited to taste the Round 2 brew.
“It’s just like that Alley Kat which I get to drink, that I wagered last time but don’t need to send down there,” said the Mayor.
He’s also eagerly awaiting the beer owed to him from San Jose. (KLM)
