Making your own personal newspaper
Posted 10/26/2009 6:16:00 AM
You don’t have time to read the paper, you have too many sites to visit every day and you can’t keep up with your favourite bloggers…it is time to make the information find you. You can use different web services like Netvibes to organize all the important information that you would like see on a regular basis.

Don’t waste time navigating to each website you visit on a regular basis rather insert widgets into your Netvibes page so that you will receive notification when the site or blog is updated. So essentially you can create your own personal newspaper that will bring together all the information that you are looking for. (Editors Note: Don't forget to add iNews880.com into your personal newspaper for all your local news! - blb)

All professionals should take note of this tool to keep track of conversation about their brand or products. You can create a separate tab in Netvibes and insert a widget to take note of when someone posts a YouTube video or tweets about your brand. Since you can access the free web service, Netvibes, at home or the office you can easily monitor your brand from wherever you are.

There is so much information to manage that it can be overwhelming at times but this type of tool can help you monitor what the web says about you, your favourite causes, your city, your country, your company, your interests and even keep an eye on what your competition is up to.
