A feud between Amazon.com and book publisher Macmillan may be coming to an end.
Macmillan CEO John Sargent has sent a memo to authors saying that a resolution is ``near at hand.''
Macmillan has been fighting Amazon over ebook prices.
The online book-seller has been offering popular digital editions on its Kindle eReader at $9.99, a price that publishers believe is too low and could damage the value of books overall. (The Associated Press, ccg)
