Edmonton police allege a local film producer charged in the death of a man who hasn't been seen for three weeks made a movie about how he would do it.
Mark Andrew Twitchell, 29, is charged with first-degree murder of 38-year-old John Brian Altinger, who was last seen on October 10.

John Brian Altinger has been missing since October 10th.
Twitchell was arrested Friday at his parent's Edmonton home.
Altinger's friends say he met a girl online and agreed to meet with her, but police allege it was part of the murder plot.
"The movie was about luring a male from a dating Internet site and basically killing the male in the garage and chopping up the body parts and getting rid of the body." said Detective Mark Anstey.
A body or remains have not been found.

As of Saturday afternoon, the garage was still taped off by police. The resident of the home, is a renter, and has no access to the garage.

Mark Andrew Twitchell took Radio and Television at NAIT and graduated from the radio program in 2000. A classmate of his told iNews880 Twitchell was "A loner... Of all the people in our class... it would be him (who would be suspected). He was just weird, a little bit off... There was just something about him. He was just quiet, wouldn't come out of his shell. He was really into Star Wars."
In fact, Mark Twitchell was into Star Wars so much so that he made a Star Wars fan movie: "Secrets of the Rebellion", which according to imdb.com is in post-production.
According to Twitchell's Facebook profile on August 15th: "Mark has way too much in common with Dexter Morgan." He was also looking for funding on an upcoming production.
Police are now asking for your help finding a man who may have further information relating to the disappearance of John Brian Altinger.
Altinger went missing on October 10th from the area of 40 Avenue and 57 Street. Police believe he was the victim of foul play after responding to an online dating ad from which he believed was placed by a woman.
Detective Mark Anstey says that police are looking for another man believed to have been a victim of the same ad.

He was seen running from a garage in the same area that Altinger went missing from on October 3rd. "I believe this male entered the garage and was attacked by another male who was wearing a hockey mask. The male was able to break free and run into the lane being chased by the male in the mask. At this time a couple was walking by and saw the altercation. The male wearing the hockey mask backed away and the other male may have escaped."

The mask that police say the suspect was wearing.
Anstey says the man they're looking for has done nothing wrong, but police would like to question him regarding the investigation.
He's described as: about 5’10", 180-190 lbs, with possible tan or dark skin. He emerged from the area with welts over his left eye and may drive a black Ford Ranger.
