Council will decide Wednesday if it should order a consultants report on how quickly to build LRT in Edmonton.
The feasibility study, if approved, will look at having all lines in place by the year 2016.
Councilor Kim Krushell thinks using the "P-3 model" to pay for it will be an important question to be answered. "We've look at P-3 with other options such as the recreation center in the Southwest comes to mind," Krushell says. "They don't always fit, so we'll have to see what happens."
Mayor Mandel suggested a full LRT system by 2016 during a transportation committee meeting, two weeks ago. (sj, aa, ccg)
