A Calder resident wants the Edmonton media to take time to ask residents near the City Centre Airport about how years of daily flights in and out of the airport have affected them.
Mike Korney is fed up with the paid ads and media attention focused on Envision Edmonton. Korney says the push to get a plebiscite in the fall election is a selfish act of a few select business owners.
Korney says media organizations seem to be supporting Envision Edmonton' s lobbying effort by failing to talk with people who live around the airport. Korney has lived for years in Calder, and likes the neighbourhood, but has tired of the loud aircraft flying overhead. (sb, gm, rp, ccg)
