Edmonton Police are adding some "muscle" to their efforts to educate people about the dangers of street racing.
A new member of the EPS Street Legal team was unveiled Wednesday morning at the Northlands Agricom on the eve of the 2009 Edmonton Motor Show.
"We needed to bring today's muscle car into the program," says EPS Det. Terry Innis. "The Dodge Challenger is the pinnacle of today's muscle car."
Around since 2009, the Street Legal program not only teaches people about the dangers of street racing, it encourages competition at legal racing facilities as well as positive interaction between the public and police. (bp, ccg)
