More lobbying efforts for city councilors to consider as they face an important decision in July over the City Centre Airport as the pressure is building, leading up to next week's public hearings.

Councillor Amarjeet Sohi admits its going to get busy with around 300 people making their case.

Meanwhile, Executive Director of the Alberta Building Trades Council Ron Harry has presented city council with letters of support for keeping the airport open - saying it's a quality of life matter when looking at health care.

However Harry was asked about job creation if the airport lands would be developed, and he reverted back to a health care answer, and he had to be prodded four times before admitting the building trades council has been involved with the Cal Nichols backed Alberta Enterprise Group who also want the airport to remain open.
