For over 50 years, the Pine Lake Camp has been catering to kids and families in need.
On August 8th, new camper accommodations are being revealed as well as special upgrades, with sturdy tornado shelters in case bad weather strikes.
The Salvation Army's Captain Pam Goodyear says these camps help so many children.
"Every summer there is, on average, a thousand campers who come into that camp," Goodyear said. "And they come for a week or five to six days at a time."
