Conservative MLA's are shrugging off dwindling poll numbers as their Premier heads into a leadership review this weekend.
The poll -- the third of three to all trend downward in recent weeks --- shows the Wildrose Alliance gaining at the expense of the PCs.
Genia Leskiw (hard G GHEN-ya) of Bonnyville-Cold Lake says troubling times need tough decisions, which won't always be popular. "Cutbacks in Health Care, a lot of people don't like what's happening there, but the reality is we want to make a system that's sustainable, and we've got to do what needs to be done."
Meanwhile, The WA's lone MLA Paul Hinman says he's heard plenty of reasons in door knocking as to why support is leaving the PCs. "The number one issue was the $8 billion deficit, the number two issue was the super health board, number three issue was this dictatorship of this government not allowing their MLAs to speak out, not allowing the health care workers to speak out, not listening to the people talking to the top, instead it's a top-down dictatorship that people are frustrated with.
Party delegates will vote on Ed Stelmach's leadership on Saturday.
