Nearly two weeks after a fiery crash on the Yellowhead Highway near Hinton, the medical examiner's office has a positive identification of a 21-year-old man who was killed.

But, RCMP won't be releasing the young man's name until all of his family is notified.

The crash, November 19th, happened in the west-bound lanes of the divided highway. The Mounties had been pursuing a minivan, that allegedly was stolen.

The van was travelling east in the west-bound lane, when it struck head-on with a west-bound pickup. The driver of the pickup, Brad Kerfoot, 30, of Leduc, and the minivan driver were killed instantly.(bp)
