The Edmonton Rush have acquired seven-time National Lacrosse League All-Star and former Champion's Cup M.V.P. Gavin Prout from the Roschester Knighthawks. The Rush also pick up forward Dan Hill in exchange for a first-rouind pick in the 2011 NLL Entry Draft.
Prout in his eight seasons has picked up 230 goals and 671 points in 127 regular season games. Prout season-high in points is 93 which is one of three-90 point seasons in his career. In 2006, Prout won a National Lacrosse League title while playing for the Colorado Mammoth earning M.V.P. honours.
Hill enjoyed his best season playing for the Minnesota Swarm in 2007 scoring 53 points. The forward has 93 career points in 30 regular season games played.
