The Edmonton Eskimos cleaned out their lockers Monday, after their season-ending loss Sunday in Calgary.
The team lost 24-21 to the Stampeders in the CFL West Division semi-final. The Stamps advanced to play Saskatchewan in next weekend's West final, in Regina.
Head coach Richie Hall says he hopes to have most of the same group of players back in training camp next season.
"Any time that you lead a football team, you try to get that chemistry -- that continuity," said Hall. "That continuity comes with having those same players there. When they become comfortable with each other, they become comfortable with their role, and they become comfortable in your scheme as far as what you're trying to do."
The Eskimos finished third in the West Division with a 9-9 record. They made their first trip to the West Division playoffs since winning the Grey Cup in 2005. The Esks qualified for the crossover berth to the East Division last year.(dc/bp)
