A young man will spend the next seven years in prison, following a stabbing last spring.

Michael Hancock, 24, has been sentenced, after he pleaded guilty to attempted murder last fall.

He was charged after another man was stabbed and seriously injured last May. The 28-year-old victim, who police say was known to the suspect, was found in a park near 107th Avenue and Hardisty Drive.(bp)
