A newly twinned 36-kilometre section of Highway 63 is opening to traffic Monday.
The Alberta transportation department confirms that the new four-lane stretch north of Wandering River will open around the noon hour.
The department says that drivers should expect some delays in the early afternoon as police escort the first few vehicles along the road.
The road was suppose to open a couple of weeks ago, but was delayed due to bad weather. (KS/JSL)
